10k ready?
ugh. So my training got set back a bit for a slight cold developed recently.. i do have a 10k on saturday and I've only run in central park once this season.. and not even the dreaded hill at the upper part of the park which, I just found out last night, is part of the course. I know I won't have the greatest pace in the world, but right now it's all about the mileage.

energizer bunny
So I ran 3.7 miles on 4.5 hours of sleep... That math ain't so bad. I'm realizing (and remembering) that I had a lot more energy when I consistently run, meaning not much napping during the days, meaning more productivity... well, more like being awake at 4am and not doing anything but be online. That's what happened last night.
This was my route: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1883435
[I don't know how I didn't know about this site earlier, I was using this stupid other tool I found online which is nowhere as powerful as this thing... i heart maps.]

taking the jump..
So I did it. A week ago, I committed myself to six months of training for the 2008 NYC Marathon. Sure, it's part of an attempt to be more fit, but it's more of following through and finishing this grueling race. It requires dedication, commitment, and focus, things which should be synonymous with all other aspects of life. So this is my jump, more to be updated soon, plus a revamp on this generic CSS template.
